In the beginning we really did not have a plan besides finish this project before the end of the school year. We seeked some support but not a lot. The person we seeked support from was Mrs. Sayre. She was the one how helped us get the kit to build it and that we needed a wifi dongle and also a micro sd card. The end product was the robot, obviously, unfortunately the app was not working so we did not get to drive it. We shared it with world by blogging about it on Weebly.
We had a lot of successes in this round one was buliding the robot. Another was being aloud to use the kit that costs a lot of money, we were only aloud to use it because they trusted us that we would not break. Another small success was being able to use Mr. Ortiz's screwdriver one flathead and one was a phillips.
We faced three problems to be exact. One was not having batteries. Not having batteries is a big problem because in order for the robot to work you need to have power and the batteries were our power. The second problem was not having a micro sd card. The micro sd card is important because you need it to have the program on it that makes it run and work. The third and final problem is not having the wifi dongle because that did not come in the kit. So we decided that Dhruv would get it.
For the next Genius hour we are going to try to fix the app that drives it and deconstruct it because eventually someone would want to take it apart.
