The Crash
I heard an ear piercing screaming that won’t stop. Then I realized it was me. It felt like all the blood from my face drained.
I was in my grandma’s car. The car was rolling down the hill where my grandma’s house was built. I thought about my family and all the good things we did together. If I didn’t make it I would treasure my family in heaven.
Some friends were over. They were watching me...their eyes wide. I was about to roll into the lake. Then CRASH! My face painfully hit the back of the front seat. My grandma’s enormous rock had stopped the car but something was different.
My tooth was gone! I searched the car, but it was nowhere in sight. “Gone like a puff of smoke” I murmured disappointedly. My grandma rushed over to the car. She wanted to check if I was alright.
“Grandma. The car is the thing you should be checking! The only thing that is wrong with me is that my tooth is missing.” I said.
“Well your health is more important than a car honey.” Answered grandma.
Then my grandma looked at me in horror. She told my grandpa to get me an ice pack.
I didn’t notice it until now. There was a giant purple bruise on my head. It was hurting and throbbing. I hated my big fat bruise. When I put the ice pack on (that my grandpa brought me), I thought I was going to cry.
The ice pack was colder than the north pole. When I went inside and laid down on the couch. I watched as my grandpa backed the car out of the rock and parked it in the garage. The car looked horrible. The whole front looked like it had been made by little kids. My cousin asked me how I felt. I told him about my head and the pain I was in.
How could the car start itself and go down the hill? I thought. I guess nobody would know.
