My genius hour project for the 3rd round was making a gopigo robot using raspberry pi. I originally was thinking of doing card tricks for my genius hour project but I wanted to do something more useful so I decided to do the raspberry pi project, which looked really cool. My steps to finishing this project were first, to research, then to get the materials, to start assembling the robot, and to drive the robot. I looked for help from Mrs. Sayre, since she was the one who introduced the topic to us. And also from my dad, since he is really good with tech stuff and helped me with the coding part of the project. My end project was a fully assembled and working robot. *I shared this end product by taking pictures of our steps and putting it into a slideshow. Some of the successes was having the fully assembled robot and ready to be driven. I also coded the robot correctly so that was good too. But some problems I faced was that sometimes, the parts of the robots wouldn't work correctly. Next time, I would like to have better time management, because we didn't have enough time to drive the robot. Next genius hour, using the assembled robot, I want to find different and cool ways on how to drive it.
