Genius hour is an hour that you can do anything you want that involves your passion. My genius hour project was making a comic. I have been drawing for so long I thought I needed a new perspective, so I decided to make a comic
I thought it would be pretty cool to make something involving drawing, so I decided on making a comic. My steps of making this comic was to research about publishing and creating a comic. The next step that I had done was looking at comics, the covers, the pages, everything about them to get the style of comic I wanted to create. After looking at the things I needed, I started to create the comic. All I needed was paper, pencils, a ruler, and a pair of scissors. Then I started to make the comic.
I needed support for my comic. Luckily my teacher’s brother makes comics for a living, she gave me his e-mail and I sent him a message but as of right now, he hasn’t responded.
My end product was a comic named “Zap Man”. It has five pages but still no color. I haven't finished my genius hour project because I haven't had much success making it but I might come back to it.
My successes, I had gotten to try something new, I had learned that things like what I did will take more time than I thought, I also learned that not everything is easy.
There were some problems I faced like, naming my comic, creating my comic, researching about comics, There were a lot of things that were challenging about my comic creating but I think that is ok, nothing is good without a challenge.
I will not do this project again because I would like to try something new, and I didn't like how my project turned out. I want to try something more exciting.
For my next round of genius hour I will try science, Involving, creating experiments and sharing them with the world
