Hello Dog
“Bark!” I hear my dogs annoying yap.I loved my dog but, sometimes she starts to get really annoying. I just got a new dog. She is a golden retriever and her name is Cedar. I look out my bedroom window. I know I can not see my backyard from here (which is where Cedar is) but, I look anyway. I don’t see Cedar but I do see my friend Gianna walking down to my house with her friend Kelsey. Gianna and Kelsey were not alone though. They had a black figure walking on the side of them. I know when I see something interesting and, this was interesting. This was a dog!
I ran downstairs and, without grabbing shoes I ran out the door into the fresh air. Once I got outside Gianna and Kelsey were already down to my house. It was definitely a dog I thought to myself. I was kind of jealous because I love dogs so much and I always want more dogs. My dad just won't let us get more dogs because he thinks it will be to much work and that we already have enough dogs. We only have two though so I don’t know what he is talking about. I tried not to show that I was jealous and I put a smile on my face.
“Oh my gosh!” I cried,”Is this your new dog?”
“Yep” Gianna said staying cool about the whole situation. Where as I would have been jumping up and down.
“But, she doesn't have a name yet,” Kelsey chimed in. I’ve met Kelsey a few times before and, I liked her she was always cool to hang out with when she was at Gianna’s house.
“What kind of dog is she?” I asked putting my hand on the dogs head. The pups head was as soft as a chinchilla. When I started to pet the dog she started to lick my face.
“She is a rottweiler mixed with a golden retriever,” Gianna explained. I was in shock. My family had just gotten Cedar (which was a golden retriever) and, we were looking into getting a rottweiler if we did not get Cedar. Now I was even more jealous.
Even though I was jealous I was even more happy for my friend and, the dog was going to be my new neighbor. My new dog would probably play with Gianna’s new dog a lot anyway. So I will see that dog a lot. Which is good because, I love that dog! I am looking forward to seeing that dog everyday now.
