On Genius Day, I'm going to be presenting 2 samples of my story, Omega. We are all ready all we've got to do is edit our presentation and document for the other students and peers. We only need 2 chromes for us (Gabby and I). I've chose to present this project because I'm dedicated to writing my own stories.
Today, at Genius Hour I finished up my Character Preview. Also, Gabby and I have made a plot twist for our story, Omega.
Today, Gabby and I started assembling all the characters in our story, Omega and next week, we are going to continue writing our story. On Tuesday, May 19, I will be going to Jefferson for a Genius Day for the 8th graders. I will be viewing the other projects that the 8th graders made.
I have learned that coding is HARD. It is useful that Kai and Micheal are helping me out, but we have all just started. We have tried out Makey Makey for a little break, but now we've gone to work. We are hoping to create a fun videogame for everyone. Now I've tried contacting Scott Cawthon (The Creator of FNAF) but after 3-4 weeks, he hasn't answered.
From my genius hour project, my question is If A Black hole can eat food what would it eat? I learned many things during my project. The biggest thing I’ve learned is the theory of relativity also known as E=mc2. Basically, its supposed to mean that the Universe is a rug and the heavier/denser the object, the bigger the dent it would make. this is important because it helps say that a black hole might rip the “rug” and create a rip in the Universe. Or maybe send it to another dimension! Or maybe- Oh… sorry I love Sci-Fi too much.
I love astronomy and cosmology. I first started loving it when I researched ideas for science posters. I found astronomy and looked into it. I found black holes, out of curiosity I started watching a video about it. I thought it was amazing for a hole in space can be so powerful.
I started reading books upon books on astronomy and cosmology. I went onto a website called Kahn Academy and Watched videos on black holes. I watched science movies and videos on astronomy. I learned many weird things like spaghettification, white holes, and wormholes. I also learned time slows down near a black hole; I also learned a theory that in the middle of the Milky Way is a black hole! Black holes are fun to study but scary to be near. Spaghettification can stretch you into spaghetti; and also a black hole can take away light from anything. How does a black hole defy the laws of physics? Hmmmm. Well, I'll figure that out. Here are some pictures (not real) of some black holes. |
